Hi, I’m Hannah!

Welcome to my little corner of the internet, where I share the stories, adventures, and everyday moments that make up my life in rural Manitoba.

Life Between Horses was created from a love of simple things – the quiet moments at the barn, the beauty of country living, the animals that fill our days, and the joy of watching the people we love follow their passions.

My Journey

Horses have been a dream of mine for as long as I can remember.  Like so many little girls, I grew up wishing for a pony of my own.  That dream stayed with me through the years, and it wasn’t until 2021 that I finally became a horse owner.  It’s funny how something we dream about as children can come back into our lives at just the right time. Owning horses has brought me so much joy and has taught me lessons that go far beyond riding.  They teach patience, trust, confidence, resilience, and the importance of slowing down and being present in the moment.

Life Between Horses

Being a mom has been one of my greatest adventures.  I’ve loved watching my children grow, find what they love, and work towards their own dreams.  Whether it’s my daughters spending time with their horses and teaching and learning from each other, or cheering on my son as he pursues his passion for golf as a PGA Manitoba member, I feel incredibly lucky to be able to stand on the sidelines and watch them grow.

Our home is always full of life.  Between horses, dogs, cats, sugar gliders, and all the personalities that make up our family, there is rarely a dull moment.  Some days are busy, some are messy, and some are simply peaceful – but they are all part of the story.

I’m not here because I have all the answers.  I’m here because I believe the everyday moments are worth sharing.  The lessons we learn, the challenges we overcome, the memories we make, and the little things that bring us happiness are what make life special.

Through Life Between Horses, I hope to share pieces of my world with you – country living in Manitoba, family adventures, animals, recipes, reflections, and all the moments that happen in between.

Thanks for being here.  I hope you’ll grab a coffee, stay awhile, and follow along on this journey.
